I'm Drippings With Goo

Exercise: 30 push ups, 50 leg lifts, 120 crunches. I know...kind of a feeble attempt but if you take the heat & humidity into consideration, "itain't" bad.

As you can probably guess by the title of this post and my comment about exercising, it was another pit dripper today - looks like the next five days hold much of the same temperature-wise.

Well today was my friend and co-worker's 34th birthday. Since she and I had been discussing that new instant lotto ticket (Quarter Play - the one that works like a slot machine) and she was interested in trying it, I bought one and stuck it in the card I gave her. Unfortunately, she didn't fair as well as my dad did which kinda disappointed me (she thought it was great though) but she did win $5 which is more than the minimum. :) Seems she really made out in the present department. She got a cookie bouquet, some flip flops (she loves those things), and some coffee from some other friends in addition to what I gave her. When she first started working at the company, she did everything she could to avoid her birthday being known and would usually stay home on the day. I think she has now found out that it's a good idea to show up because even though she has to put up with the not so sincere well wishers, she can get some pretty good crap that really do care and make a point of remembering the day. LOL

Well, that's it for today - not a lot going on.
