They say it's your birthday....So Happy Birthday to you!
Distance Run: 2 Miles
Other Exercise: 100 Pushups, 1000 Crunches, 50 Leg Lifts, 50 Squats (I was an over achiever tonight LOL)
First things first....it's Steph's 24th birthday today! Happy Birthday biotch - only one year to go before you are officially an adult. ;) We never did finish our discussion about getting together to celebrate. If you are going to be around this weekend, give me a shout. I know the last time we talked we were "sidetracked" with road-tripping plans - still trying to get an answer out of Ant about the puter he wants to build. If he doesn't get up off his butt by tomorrow, I do believe I will be making the decision for him - meaning I go and screw the machine. LOL
As I mentioned awhile back, there was talk about Paul McCartney playing the new Wells Fargo Arena they are building downtown. Well, last night it became official. I was rather surprised too because the ticket price range isn't extremely outrageous like I thought it might be. $50 - $175 before "convenience" fees. I would really like to go to this show but getting tickets may not be the easiest thing in the world. The whole arena has 17000 seats and my guess is that some of them won't be sold (then again you never know) but either way, I have a feeling they will be going REALLY fast.
Well, we got a new Pope today. Given all the "talk" about him, it will be interesting to see what he does. I thought it was kinda funny how measures were taken so that everyone would know when a new Pope was decided upon and it still fell through.
Finally, I would like to take time to remember all those who died in the Oklahoma Federal building bombing and their loved ones. I will never forget that day. My friend and I walked back to our dorm from Journalism class and she turned on the tv for a few minutes before we took off again to go to lunch. Rather than seeing the soap opera she was intending to watch, there was footage of the bombing being shown. We were dumbfounded by it. Fast forward ten years - it's hard to believe that much time has gone by.
Well kiddies, I've got to be on my way now. The Eldard dude is on and I need to go put the finishing touches on the database I have been working on. They are saying we are supposed to get some thunderstorms tonight - I hope so. Stupid fuckers have been teasing me with this information for days now and nothing has become of it. Of course wouldn't you know, Ant was kind enough to handwash my car this past weekend and it had been bone dry outside up until the minute I opened the garage door this morning. I wouldn't have been quite so pissed off about it had it been caused by a really cool thunderstorm but Noooooooo just one of those little April showers. :(
