One black toenail coming up!
Miles Run: Count 'em folks - a whopping 8
They are predicting high winds again for tomorrow so I figured I better step it up to counter maybe not getting out there Thursday night. Then again, I probably would have done that many anyway. Not only should I be at that level anyway but the farther I went, the more energized I felt. The downside is, I fear that I may be getting a black toenail again. Oh the casualties of long distance running. LOL
Other Exercise: None - not enough time. My guess is that I won't be doing much of this at least not until the weather gets warmer and the days longer. That's ok though. As long as I can get it in at least once every couple of weeks, I'm good.
I once again don't have a lot of time to write tonight (I've got more job hunting to do) but I wanted to put down a few words about something they have been reporting about on the news the last couple of nights. I guess someone in the Des Moines area decided to wander through one of the most diverse communities in town and drop National Alliance literature in people's yards. These people just make me ill! It boggles my mind to think that there are people out there who actually believe that the way someone looks and the culture they come from destroys a society. Nothing good EVER has come out of segregation and nothing EVER will. Can we say hints of Hitler? That's how I view them and I have a feeling that if they were ever able to dominate like they would like to, there would be even more war and hatred in this world than there already is. Just the thought gives me the chills.
