OMG! That is soooooo funny!!!
Exercise: 100 push-ups, 50 leg lifts, and 400 crunches. Finally my abs are starting to go back to the way they were a couple of years ago. :)
I was watching the world news this evening and there was this report about "Rummie" being heckled. They showed a clip where an ex CIA agent was just laying into the guy like none other and basically calling him a bold face liar. LMFAO I was literally rolling on the floor. Never have I seen the man tap dance more than he did when confronted about lying when it comes to falsely claiming Iraq had WMD.
They also reported that tomorrow will mark the 1000th issue of Rolling Stone. It's been awhile since I've perused a copy of one but I remember when my brother used to get them and I would always sneak into his room when he was gone so I could have a read. :)
I also had read on CNN at lunchtime what Moussaoui's judge said to him. "You came here to be a martyr and die in a great big bang of glory, but to paraphrase the poet T.S. Eliot, instead you will die with a whimper." She sooo hit the nail on the head. I'm also happy that the guy wasn't given the death sentence. I really think that if he believes what comes out of his mouth (assuming the guy is sane enough which he probably isn't), it's the best punishment that could be given to him because I believe that death to him would have given him some sort of satisfaction and meant to him that he succeeded.
And now for something completely different.....
Just after 5 this evening, I received a call from Edinburgh, Scotland. My oldest nephew who is studying acting is over in the UK taking a tour of some of the more well known theaters. For some reason I was thinking he didn't leave until the 10th but I guess he left earlier this week. The poor kid is dead tired (which I knew he would be based on the first trip I ever took over there) but he said he absolutely loves it. He's already gone and gotten a tat of the Union Jack on his shoulder. LOL I couldn't believe it when he told me that. At first I thought maybe he meant one of those temp things but he said it was real. Never would I have expected him to do something like that but at least he made a good design choice. :) He did tell me that tomorrow they are going to London but unfortunately he didn't think he would be able to meet up or talk to "Mummy England". I thought that was a bit of a shame since I know she would love to meet him but considering she's an hour each way outside the city, she does still work, and he wouldn't know how to get to her after he got of the train, it could get really tricky. I don't believe she drives and "Daddy England" works nights so picking the kiddo up would be a little difficult. Oh and the other thing that works against them is they don't know what the other looks like so meeting up at the train station could get interesting. LOL
Otay...that's it for me tonight.
Til next time...
