I work with some of the wackiest people
Exercise: 400 crunches, 100 push ups, 50 leg lifts
You know, there are some days when the people you work with just make it worth the trip into the office. One of the account guys I work with (I will call him Big O) just cracks me up every time I talk to him. Today I think he was nursing a serious brain fart since he kept calling me into his office nearly every ten minutes to "fix" his Power Point presentation he was working on. We always give each other shit and somewhere in there, I end up calling him weird or a freak to which he declares, "I'm unique". I then let him know that he's WAY beyond unique. lol I did let him know that he was only allowed one "tech" call per day but that was shot to hell by about 10am. I also informed him that if he called again, I would have to start charging double. Ok so maybe the monetary pay is the same but he is the "candyman" in our office and was more than willing to pay me in chocolate or any other goodies I wanted from his cabinet so it wasn't all bad. :)
Speaking of goodies from work....one of the other account guys I work with more than anyone else basically gave me and J-Lo free roam of the HBC samples so needless to say, I've got enough shampoo, body wash, and fabric softener to last at least a year. Btw, TBB if you read this....I have another big jug of laundry detergent for you. :)
Oh....was watching The Apprentice tonight. Sean just cracks me up and I really hope he wins. This week's task involved redesigning uniforms for Embassy Suites. I was appalled by what the women did. Obviously they knew nothing about designing uniforms or anything else for that matter - Dynasty anyone? YUCK! Sean, on the other hand, knew exactly what to focus on - keep it professional but make it functional. Sean...if I weren't already married, I think I would want you for my own. LOL
And now for something completely different.....
I've been spending some time reading political forums lately. I really find it interesting to see what other people (especially the younger crowd) are saying about the current hot topics. While there are your usual extremists and childish name callers, I have to say that I'm impressed with many of the younger people posting on these forums. Some of them are really thinking and help to restore my faith in the up and coming generation.
Otay....this is me leaving for the evening.
Til next time.....
