GAWD what a day!

Exercise: 50 push-ups, 200 crunches, and 25 leg lifts. Tonight was an "off" night meaning I went for half what I have built up to in order to let my muscles recoup.

The first part of today just kind of bit some ass. A few of my co-workers are what I would call VERY loud talkers even when it comes to stuff that personally, I wouldn't even whisper around the workplace. I do my best to tune them out but at times I find it nearly impossible. This morning was one of those times. They were discussing the big immigration issue that's been on the table lately and let me tell you, it was obvious they didn't realize they were discussing it where someone who is married to a foreign national could hear them. Then again, I don't think any of them even know me well enough to know that I married someone from outside this country. Anyway, some of the things they said just made me sick and the way they were referring to people not born here was so horrendous it actually got me thinking about whether or not I wanted to continue working at my current company.

This afternoon was the second straight one spent in the conference room on a dull ass, worthless conference call. I'm sooo thankful it's a rare thing when we have application upgrades rolled out. Ok...maybe some people got something out of it but I sure as hell didn't. Then again, considering one was reprimanded for falling asleep, I really have to wonder. I could have sat down with the manual and figured out anything I needed to know in about 15 minutes. Instead I had to waste two hours listening to some woman blah blah and people asking questions that just left you thinking how in the hell have you been working this long without knowing that?

At least Gooshie (Quantum Leap fans know who I'm referring to) was able to lift my spirits with a cartoon about a cat trying desperately to get its owners to buy it some Kitty Yummers. LOL

And now for something completely different....

American Idol ~ I soo love Chris and Taylor and I really hope they end up as the final two. Katherine and Paris are good too but I think Chris and Taylor just have something over them.

House ~ This has got to be one of the best shows on tv. I've watched it for the last couple of seasons and I really like it. It's kind of got that strange sort of surreal factor that Keen Eddie (a show which had me crushed when I found out it was cancelled) had. Oh and the sarcasm....Dr. House you're my hero. :P
