Anyone for some Colon Cleanse?
Exercise: 100 push-ups, 400 crunches, and 50 leg lifts - about halfway back to where I used to be. Building the running back up to 8 or so miles is next.
So I was watching TV earlier and I shit you not (no pun intended), I saw a commercial for this product called Colon Cleanse. The name alone is gross enough but then this woman comes on and says, "To feel clean from the inside out!" Uh.....EWWWWW. I always have to wonder where they get the people who appear in these commercials and can keep a straight face when pimping products like that.
Well I see old "Lush Bimbaugh" might get a dismissal of a prescription fraud charge and not have to admit his guilt. *RE* Personally, I think the guy should "fry". Yah let's prosecute illegal immigrants as felons but let's allow the drug addicts to go free with a slap on the wrist. Oh and let's not forget the fact that more than likely, the deal he's getting is because the guy has money.
I was happy to see all the people who supported Day Without Immigrants. According to the news reports, the numbers weren't quite as high as expected but it was a sizeable turnout and it did force some businesses to close. Of course as expected the "opposition" showed up too. Based on all the ones I heard interviewed, they (like most people) all misunderstood what's really going on. This day was a protest against illegal immigration becoming a felony, not something to say that people think it's their right to come across the border any way they see fit. I said it in a comment I made in response to a reader of this blog and I will say it again....I CANNOT look at someone who steals a loaf of bread to feed a starving family the same as someone who robs a bank just because they want a lot more money.
And now for something completely different.....
To the landscapers who left all the rock here and there all over the streets in the neighborhood - YOU SUCK! Thankfully there was just enough space for me to get through without having to drive over the crap. I think what pisses me off even more is that Chi and I are paying extra for this service by way of dues. Almost every year they increase ($20 + a one time $35 installment fee in the 3 1/2 years we've been here) and the quality of service decreases. Hell, we're still waiting to have a piece of trim that blew off weeks ago replaced. It took two days to even get a response back to the email request I sent the property management company and then the woman who sent it seemed more concerned about the fucking text color not faxing well. Hey lady - ever think about changing the options on your computer instead of bitching at your customers? GEEZ!
