Tom, Daniel, and strange experience
Exercise: Washing the car and yes, it is a workout when you do it by hand. Figures that the weather reports last night which said no rain or snow for the next week, have now changed to an inch of snow tomorrow night. Pffffft!
I see Tom DeLay has finally and officially given up attempting to reclaim the House majority leader post he's held for the past three years. What amazes me is that he actually thinks he is going to run for reelection and win (GIVE ME A BREAK). Then, to top it off, he starts getting all noble about it and basically makes it sound as though he's doing this for his party. PLEASE! Go on TD kiss a little more ass while your at it *Rolls Eyes*. I only hope that the people of Texas who will be deciding who gets the seat can see through this nonsense and keep him out even if he, by some act of God, is shown to be innocent.
Next up, The Book Of Daniel. I sooo wanted to see this program because of all the blah blah it's been surrounded by including things like the AFA (who personally I think should go to hell) encouraging the network to not show it. Unfortunately I ended up falling asleep and missing it. Anyway based on what I've been reading about it, I think the people who are getting in such a tiz over it are completely missing the point. People even priests are human and no matter how they and their families are devoted to God and the church, they have their problems. This I have seen with my own eyes when I was growing up and attending church. From what I understand, this show has more to do with the guy's home life rather than the actual church part of things so the wack Christian groups (who in my book really aren't overly Christian) should maybe just shut up. I'm going to make a point of watching it next time it's on just so I can see for myself.
One show that I have seen and I'm really liking so far is In Justice. It's about time they put a show on that actually portrays a more realistic look at our justice system by showing it actually does make mistakes. I'm sad that they took off Blind Justice but this is a good substitute and it just so happens that one of the people on the show used to be on Blind Justice. I just hope it has a better fate than BJ.
And now for something completely different......
I had another sleep paralysis experience today when I took a nap. I'm not sure if I have mentioned this here before or not so I will explain. Sleep paralysis is when your mind sort of wakes up before your body meaning that you often are aware of your surroundings but your body is "paralyzed". From the reading I've done on the subject, many people have hallucinations when they experience it but I haven't. The first time I ever had one of these experiences, I totally freaked out and panicked. I felt like I couldn't breathe and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move or speak. I knew if someone touched me or moved me, I would be ok but there was no way to tell anyone to do it. After I learned about it and found out I wasn't the only one and what was going on, I've been able to keep myself more relaxed when it happens although I still get a little frightened when I try with all my might to move and can't. WEIRD!
Otay kiddies...I's off.
Til next time....
