I think I'm gonna cry

Exercise: None today - too busy takin care of business.

Well, today was the day that my beloved Sunfire went home with its new owner. As much as I am looking forward to my new car, I'm going to really miss the old. It was the first new car I ever bought and paid for with my own money - gotta admit I more than got my $15000 back in the enjoyment and reliability of that little car. My boss' son seemed pretty giddy about getting it too. He was talking about taking it for a drive before actually going home. LOL Can't blame him. Teenager, "new" car that shines up to look brand new - nuff said. :)

The downside of it all.....I'm stuck driving my parents' '97 Chevy S10. The thing may be the same age as the Sunfire and have 60000 fewer miles but I can't say it drives better. Yep, this is definitely going to be the longest part of the wait for my new car. Hopefully it will be 4 weeks instead of 12.

This past weekend Chi and I helped some friends move. I also ended up being forced on the back of a 4-wheeler for a extremely fast ride around the new digs. The ground was very bumpy and afterward I came upon the conclusion that if I were ever to do that again, I must find a much better bra! LOL I couldn't help but crack up about it all because the whole time I was on the thing, I could hear my mother's voice in the back of my head, "You are NOT to get on ANY of those ATVs!". When I was younger, a friend of mine who lived down the road from me had a 4 wheeler and my mom pretty much threatened my life if I even thought about getting on one because they can be so dangerous. LOL

And now for something completely different.......

I guess the fiasco with Michael Brown and his inexperience to head FEMA didn't give Dubya that slap in the face he really needs. Based on his latest Supreme Court justice nomination, he's still hell bent on hiring people as favors rather than for the actual experience they possess. Now I know the woman is a lawyer and all but she doesn't have any experience as a judge and given how far her nose is up George's rear end, I get the feeling that her views are just a little too conservative especially when it comes to the issues surrounding abortion. All we need is a ball busting right wing extremist in there. BLEH! I'm willing to give her a fair shake but if she starts going the same way as the ghostly look on her face, it's time to get her the hell out of there!

Righty roo. Vicar Of Dibley ("No No Man" and all) is on so I'm outta here.
