Are you a good witch or a bad witch?
Exercise: None - had a bit of a headache.
I watched a show on TLC tonight called Haunting In Connecticut. It's about this family who moved into a house that was a funeral parlor so that they could be closer to the hospital where the eldest son was receiving cancer treatment. The two older boys slept in a room downstairs and were constantly haunted but the parents didn't believe it until after the oldest son went wacko and the spirits started coming after them.
It seems like no matter how many of these shows I watch, I'm still puzzled by whether or not things like ghosts really exist. I mean I have had times when I have felt as though I am being watched even when there is no one there and times when I have had the hair raise on the back of my neck for no reason but I can't say that I necessarily feel as though this was the handy work of someone who hasn't "moved on". I'm more inclined to think that it is nothing more than just my mind playing tricks on me. Possibly caused by subconsciously thinking of a childhood fear for example, when I was little, I couldn't go anywhere dark without turning all the lights on (you know, the old bogeyman factor nearly every child experiences around the age of 5). These days I can usually walk downstairs in the dark without thinking much of it but every now and then, I can't do it without turning every light on along the way and having this creepy feeling.
So what's your take on it? Do ghosts exist? Have you had any personal experiences with this sort of thing?
And now for something completely different......
I'm appalled that our government sent journalist Judith Miller to jail over the fact that she wouldn't reveal sources for an article she didn't even write. Hell, I would be appalled even if she had written the thing. If you ask me, this is part of the problem with this country....we punish people like this woman and make taxpayers fork over the cash to do it then turn around and bitch about overcrowding in correctional facilities. Give me a break! It's things like this that only further enforce my support of this man for our next governor. Hopefully, he will influence others to be more like him.
Til next time....
