The Results Are In.....

Well, the audit finished today (a day earlier than expected). I'm happy to say that I'm glad it is over and it went well. Turns out we scored .9 under perfect which according to the auditor was really good (a comment she said she rarely gives out). Considering we were 1.9 under last time around, I'm pretty damn proud of our score. What's better is that there was one item the auditor called us on (our biggest "ding" which was done at the direction of someone in the company doing the audit) that could actually be reversed. If it is, that will further boost our score.
I was a little puzzled when I was walking back to my desk though. My supervisor (she also works on the line) was asking me what I thought of the meeting but the way she asked lead me to believe that she wasn't overly happy about the results. Why I don't know. I mean I knew going into it, our score wouldn't be perfect (I don't know that anyone has ever received that sort of rating) but I wasn't sure it would be as good as it was. Who knows, maybe I will find out more behind her reaction tomorrow.
Well, that's all for tonight kiddies. I'm off to watch Ripley's. Looks like they are going to have a story about people who do shots with toes in them to be part of a "club" and there is a guy who decided to donate his own amputated toe to the cause. YUCK!
