Props to my friend and co-worker J!
Distance Run: 0 - Ever since I went out the other night, I have been nursing a sore leg - don't know where that came from.

Bless her heart. I guess one of the local radio stations gave listeners a chance to nominate someone as an outstanding administrator for Administrator Professionals Day/Week. As it turns out, she nominated me and her nomination was picked. The receptionist called me up to the front desk this afternoon and there sat a box with a vase full of flowers in it.
When I first opened the card and saw that it was signed by someone I didn't know, I didn't know what the hell to think. I then noticed there was a bag with a plaque in it. When I pulled that out, I then figured out what it was. On one side it had my name and said I was an outstanding administrator. On the other, it had the message that my friend typed in. It really was a neat surprise especially after the day I had been having dealing with a business manager asking me to once again do something that was rather ridiculous and not really something I would say was my responsibility. Of course after the bullshit he told my supervisor about me giving "push back", I decided I would just go ahead and do it but write it down in detail should he try it again for next year's review - GRRRRR!
Well kiddies, I should be off now so I can finish watching that Eldard dude.
