ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH MAKE THEM STOP!!!!
I swear now that a do not call list has been established to keep the solicitors away, the survey crowd has come out in DROVES! Usually Ant and I won't even answer our land line because of these annoying people but lately I have been because I know my nephew might be calling about the costume thang. Anyway, earlier this evening I was getting ready to go for a run (I know I'm addicted. Who else would brave being pelted with snow and ice chips to make a two mile run. lol) and the phone rang. It was some lady taking a short water survey. Ok, it was only a few questions so I was nice for once (ooh I guess it was more like the second time this month - shit I'm losing my touch dammit!) and I humored her. Blah blah blah. At the end, she said something about being qualified for a free water test and some other shit. I declined that and told her we didn't want to be contacted for that and continued getting ready to go out running. The minute I got back downstairs and started to put my shoes on for the second time, the phone rang again. I couldn't help but remark, "Who the hell could that possibly be? Not like we get a ton of phone calls around this dump." Knowing it could be my nephew, I ran back upstairs to answer it. Wouldn't you know, it was the same woman AGAIN! Hello! Do you not pay attention to the names you are calling DUH!!! When I told her that she just called here, all she said was, "Oh" and then hung up. How fucking rude!
And now for something completely different.....
Ant is in the process of rebuilding his computer. I guess earlier tonight he was messing around with the fan and some how managed to stick his finger in it in a way that it cut it up pretty bad. Almost looks like it went through the nail down to the skin underneath. He's such a gump. He was hopping around here singing the "owie" song right after he did it and I was rolling because it was so funny to watch him. I didn't think it was funny that he was hurt but his reaction was hysterical. LOL He told me that he had stuck his finger in the fan before but it never did anything like that. It was funny because last night we were watching Mythbusters and they were going to do an experiment to see if a ceiling fan could cut someone's head off. Unfortunately, I dozed off before they completed it so I didn't get to see the results. I don't think Ant saw them either but I said something to him about not paying attention otherwise he would have known better not to play with the mean old bastard of a fan. :P
A little later on, he had me laughing again. I was watching American Idol and that Scott guy (the one who has a decent enough voice but not the looks of and up and coming) came on. Ant was sitting beside me and not long after the guy started singing, Ant raised his hand and started sweeping it across in front of him yelling, "OFF!!! OFF!!!" I couldn't stop laughing.
Otay kiddies I'm off now. Gotta go finish up the costume and vote for my next American Idol although I'm a bit torn between Bo, Anwar, Judd, and Mario. Maybe I will just have to vote for all of them. LOL
