One of Ant's co-workers had a Pure Romance party yesterday. For those of you who don't already know, these are parties given by women for women much like Tupperware gigs but rather than selling kitchen products, sex toys, lubes, fragrances, etc. are talked about and sold. I must confess when I first got the invite, I had mixed thoughts about going. Most of the stuff I knew would be discussed just isn't my bag and that along with not knowing what kind of activities might take place especially with people I don't know that well was enough to make me not want to go. I decided, however, to go anyway. As the old saying goes, "Don't knock it before you try it." To make a long story short - I was glad that I went. I had a really good time even though a lot of the stuff that was shown wasn't anything I cared for (expensive as hell too), it was nothing but laughs and I think that even someone who isn't comfortable around those sorts of things would enjoy it.
